A Shared Legacy. A Shared Future.
Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is more than remembering a moment in history. It is an invitation to build relationships, create opportunities, and put the values of equality and service into practice where we live.
Building bridges since 2017
Pearland MLKCC brings people together across northern Brazoria County through charitable, educational, and cultural initiatives. Our mission is grounded in inclusion and a belief that every neighbor has a role in shaping a stronger community.
Shared celebrations create space to meet, listen, and appreciate the experiences that make our community unique. They are also an opportunity to turn connection into lasting engagement.
Learning, leading, and growing together
Education and youth empowerment sit at the heart of that work. Community workshops encourage dialogue around important social issues, while higher education scholarships support students who demonstrate academic commitment, leadership, and service.
Civic engagement and cultural unity bring those efforts together. When people share their perspectives and take part in community life, a celebration can become the beginning of a deeper relationship.
Help carry the vision forward
Our annual MLKCC Scholarship Gala and Juneteenth Celebration are flagship opportunities to connect with this mission. The Events & Gallery hub brings upcoming gatherings and shared community memories into one place.
